TheEclat CortexTrippin’ freecoasterwheelis built using a 36H EclatTrippin’ double-wall rim laced 3X with black 14G spokes and nipples to a Eclat Cortexfreecoaster hub.The Eclat Cortex Freecoaster hub has a unique clutch based mechanism that is not onlymore durable than traditional clutch-based freecoaster but it’s smoother and offers the largest amount of slack possible. It features a 6061-T6 aluminum hub shell, precision sealed hub shell bearings, 1-pc chromoly driver with sealed bearings and a bushing for additional support, a unique “stop ring” to prevent drive side bearing crush, 14mm hollow heat-treated chromoly axle with alloy axle nuts, adjustable slack using the 2 provided slack washers, and includes drive and non-drive side hub guards.KHE style slack washers will not fit onthe Eclat Cortex, use only the slack washers provided.
